Upstanders: MLK Jr Day of Service

On MLK Day, Monday, January 15, 2024, YWCA Hanover’s Upstanders Youth Council will offer a $10 workshop for students in 6th-12th grade.

Location: Guthrie Memorial Library

• 8:45 AM Registration and light breakfast
• 9:00 AM Introductions and plan for the day
• 9:15 AM Dr. Scott Hancock, guest speaker. Dr. Hancock is currently an associate professor of History and Africana Studies at Gettysburg College
• 9:45 AM Activity
• 10:30 AM Snack
• 10:45 AM Service projects at the Guthrie Library
• 11:30 AM Wrap-up of the day
• 11:45 AM Dismissal
