Today’s Learners Tomorrow’s Leaders

YWCA Hanover offers child care that fits today’s working families. All YWCA Child Care Programs are licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS). We accept funding through the subsidized Child Care Program managed by Community Connections for Children of York, Adams Counties, and the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS). Our center also participates in the Department of Education’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

We provide children with a caring, nurturing, safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate environment to grow and learn. Nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided. Each classroom follows teacher-created lesson plans based on the PA Early Learning Standards, and Teaching Strategies Gold Assessments.
